My Family Family :)

The Soderborgs

Dad:
(PHIL)
I love my dad very much! He is such a hard worker and I can go to him with any problem and I know he will have the best advice or solution. He works for a construction company as their sales consultant which means that hes basically the guy who goes and gets potential jobs for their company. I think this is the perfect job for him, although he is gone alot, he is so great with people! He can make a connection with almost anyone and carry on a conversation about almost anything. I've been told my dad can appear intimidating but he is a kid at heart and such a fun loving guy! On the side my dad DJ's! This, i think, is his true passion in life. He's a true music junkie and can beat anyone at the "name that tune" game. I have yet to meet anyone with a bigger music collection!

Mom:
(LISA)
She's the best, she really is "super-mom". She does it all, literally...she is an amazing cook and she is one of the best seamstresses I know, she plays the piano beautifully, and she does every thing in between. I really don't know how she does all that she does half the time...I swear she can be in two places at once. One word that comes to mind when I think of my mom is sacrifice; she does so much for others and will drop whatever she is doing to help someone and yet she never asks for anything in return. I love her and hope one day I can be just as good of a mom.

Sister:
(ALISSA -21)
Alissa easily has become one of my best friends as we have gotten older. I don't talk to her as often as I would like too, but whenever we talk we are able to pick up right off where we left off. She is super shy and quit when you first meet her, but don't let her fool you, once you break her shell she is just as wild and crazy and silly and loud as anyone else. She has changed her major...i don't know like one thousand times now...making decisions was never her strong point, however currently she has settled on food science. I have no idea what a food science graduate does for a living, but she seems to love it! She loves reading and can crank out a 500 page novel in just one day...i swear she has super eyes or something. Also she also plays the flute!
Brother:
(JOSH - 16)

So my little brother is not so little anymore. He has already passed up my dad and easily has six inches on me and I don't think he has stopped growing. He plays football and he also wrestles, those two combined with school pretty much sums up his life. He leaves at six in the morning for early football practice and then goes to school and then has another after school football practice and when he finally gets home at six thirty p.m. he does homework and goes to bed, and he still manages to get a's in all of his classes. Super busy kid - I have no clue how he does it!
Brother:
(MATTHEW - 6)
Matthew is the baby of the family. As you might have noticed, there is a fat ten year gap between him and Josh...He was our little surprise :). He was the best surprise I ever got though. There is something so special and innocent about having a kid around, I can't really put it into words. I like to think of Matthew as our little blessing; When he was born, our whole family changed for the better. I love the little pespective that he brought into our home and the pure joy that came with just being around. I tell you, throughout the years he has turned into quite the character! He NEVER ceases to make me laugh until it hurts and his heart is so big - he has love for everyone. Just this past year he started first grade! I still can't believe it! He loves to ride his bike and his scooter and playing with his little neighbor friends also he loves wathcing Throwdown with Bobby Fley :)

My Rexburg Family :)

Rexburg, oh how i miss you sooo

WINTER Poem

It's winter in IDAHO
And the gentle breezes blow

Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.

Oh, how I love IDAHO
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave dear Idaho
I'm frozen to the ground!

So although mostly this poem is true...I really do miss Idaho!!!

BOOM ROAST MY LIFE:

Can be used as a verb, a noun, an adjective..anything really.
1)used to describe something most unfortunate in your life

EX. Sat at a stop light for 7 minutes...boom roast my life
EX. Ate a piece of moldy bread...boom roast my life
EX. Been sick for a month...boom roast my life
EX. I work at Red Robin...boom roast my life

Can be abbriviated: B.R.M.L

OCCUPATION:

I currently work at Red Robin. I feel like I live there. I told myself I was never going back into retail so I thought the restaurant bis would be a nice change of scenery.....here's the thing, the restaurant business is just as, if not more stressful. I tend to get stressed pretty easily and so I keep telling myself that this will be a great way for me to aquire some new stress-dealing skills....well just have to see about that. Mostly since I am just a hostess, the biggest stress is making sure all of your servers are happy...this is not an easy task. In some ways I like it a lot better than a retail job, for example I get a discount on food...fifty percent off. Also a restaurant is much more fast paste(...past....pastte...???) the shift goes by a lot quicker and you don't really feel like you were working for five hours. However that is only if we are busy. During the non-lunch and non-dinner hours it is so boring and I start losing my mind and making no sense, infact just the other day as two people were leaving the restaurant I said "Have a great meal you guys!" What I really meant to say was "Have a great day!".
